Ask for help

Contact with your device model, operating-system version, PiPaFi version and a description of the issue. If the app shows an error diagnostic, include its error-domain name and number. Avoid sending private inventory photos, full backups or raw device logs by default.

Protect or move your inventory

Open Settings → Create Backup and save the file somewhere private and safe. Export before deleting the app. Automatic recovery copies disappear when the app is removed. Settings → Restore Backup replaces current inventory after confirmation, so first export the inventory you want to keep.

Sharing and sync

On iPhone and iPad, PiPaFi Household Sharing shares inventory through separate private iCloud/CloudKit invitations. A household invitation does not itself grant access to paid editing features. Android does not currently offer live iCloud or cross-platform synchronization. You can move compatible backup files manually.

If devices have different changes

PiPaFi does not automatically merge competing offline edits. Export a backup on each device before replacing inventory. Do not erase a device’s inventory to try to clear a sync error. Contact support if the copies differ or you are unsure which copy to keep.

App lock

Android uses your device PIN, pattern or password. iPhone and iPad use supported device authentication, with passcode fallback. PiPaFi does not receive these secrets. Locking the app does not password-protect an exported backup.

Free trial and optional Full Unlock

PiPaFi for iPhone and iPad is free to download. Start a free, one-time 72-hour trial from Settings → Trial & Unlock → Manage PiPaFi access. The trial begins when Apple confirms the free purchase. It does not renew or automatically charge you.

Full Unlock is a separate one-time in-app purchase, currently $3.99 in the United States. Other regions display their local App Store price. There is no subscription or recurring charge.

Apple Family Sharing is enabled for the one-time Full Unlock. Eligible members of the purchaser’s Apple Family Sharing group can share that purchase; the free trial is not shared. Sharing a purchase does not automatically share inventory or add anyone to a PiPaFi household. People outside that Apple family group need their own applicable access to paid editing features.

After the trial ends, Full Unlock is required to add or edit items and create or rename locations and containers. You can still view and export existing inventory and restore an inventory backup. Restoring purchases does not restart a used trial.

Android trial and Full Unlock

PiPaFi for Android is free to download from Google Play. Choose Start 3-day Trial — Free to start a 72-hour trial stored locally on your device. The trial does not automatically charge or renew. Full Unlock is a separate, optional one-time purchase through Google Play. The store displays its local price before purchase.

PiPaFi uses Apple’s Standard EULA.

Android backup size

The current Android build limits JSON inventory/imports to 64 MB. Use appropriately sized photos and keep a verified independent export.

Removing data

You can remove individual items. Earlier recovery snapshots and exported files can retain them. PiPaFi has no dedicated control to erase the complete iCloud household. Owners can manage invitations through Household Sharing → Invite or Manage People. Uninstalling does not remove the shared household or another member’s copy. Contact support before removal if you need help understanding the remaining copies.
